What is it?

Digital print and vinyl are cladding methods used to apply imagery, patterns, logos and text to surfaces. Glass, wall, panel and furniture surfaces gain a brand identity and decorative look at low cost.

  • Digital print: Printing a high-resolution image onto vinyl, canvas or panel.
  • Cut vinyl: Single-colour logos, text and patterns plotter-cut and applied.
  • Glass cladding: Privacy and branding on glass with frosted, coloured or printed vinyl.

Types & varieties

Vinyl types

  • Adhesive vinyl: Print/cut for glass, walls and flat surfaces.
  • Frosted (sandblast-effect) vinyl: Privacy and an elegant look on glass.
  • Wrapping vinyl: Refreshing furniture and counter surfaces.

Print media

With options such as one-way vision (perforated glass film), canvas, wallpaper, forex/panel print and backlit print, it is applied indoors and outdoors; lamination provides scratch and UV protection.

Advantages & disadvantages

Advantages

  • Fast and economical branding/graphics
  • Unlimited imagery, colour and pattern
  • Easy updates with removable options
  • Versatile on glass, walls and furniture

Points to consider

  • The application surface must be clean and smooth
  • Cheap vinyl/ink can fade over time (lamination recommended)
  • Bubble-free application requires expertise

Care & cleaning

Vinyl surfaces are wiped with a damp soft cloth; abrasives and solvents are avoided. Laminated prints resist scratches and fading better. If lifting starts at the edges, early attention extends the life.
