Retail Store Design & Shopfitting
A store has to earn the walk-in, then make the product easy to reach and hard to leave. We handle retail store design and shopfitting as one job: the design, the store fixtures and custom millwork, and a shipment that arrives ready to assemble.

Design-build and shopfitting under one roof
Retail projects are usually split between a designer, a local shopfitter and a contractor — three contracts and three chances for a detail to go missing. Standchi is a retail design and manufacture company: concept, 3D design, store fixtures, custom millwork and bespoke joinery come from one team and one Istanbul workshop.
- Design: circulation, sightlines, display density, lighting and brand surfaces resolved together.
- Manufacture: wall systems, gondolas, display platforms, cash wrap and window units produced to measure.
- Delivery: flat pack shipping worldwide with numbered parts and video-guided installation — no crew to fly in.
What a retail fit out covers
Three elements decide how a store sells. Each has its own page:
- Window display & visual merchandising — the platform, the lighting and the changeable backboard.
- Shelving & store fixtures — wall systems, gondola units and LED-integrated displays.
- Checkout counter (cash wrap) — a workstation and the brand's last impression.
Also relevant: retail lighting, feature surfaces and, for a smaller footprint, mall kiosks.
Why isn't there a fixed price on this page?
Because the price is set by the material, not the dimensions. The same counter can be built from a sheet that costs €100 and from one that costs €500 — same drawing, same size, a fivefold difference. And form sets the labour: curves, radii and 45° mitred joints are finished by hand, turning a twenty-five-day job into thirty-two.
So a number given without a detailed project is a guess, not a price. If you have drawings, send them and we price to scope. If you don't, we draw it: €1.250 for a mall kiosk or product display unit, €2.500 for a café, restaurant, store or showroom — and the whole fee is deducted from the production invoice if we also manufacture.
How we handle it at Standchi
We start from your floor plan and product range: concept and layout first, then a full 3D design you approve, then production with photo and video updates at every stage. Everything is test-assembled in the workshop before packing and ships as numbered flat pack modules — your own team or a local fitter puts it together in days. For multi-store rollouts the same modules repeat, so the second store costs less than the first.
No site visit is needed. We guide the survey remotely — see how we work.
