Commercial Bar & Counter Design
The bar is the heart of a café — both a production station and the brand's most visible stage. A well-planned counter affects everything from the barista's efficiency to the guest's first impression.

What does it cover?
A bar and service counter consists of the front panel (customer side), the work counter (barista side), the worktop, the prep and machine area behind it, and storage modules. Standchi designs and produces this whole as a single, unified system.
- Front panel: The surface where the brand stands out — wood, compact laminate, stone or digital print.
- Worktop: Water- and stain-resistant solid surface, quartz or compact laminate.
- Work area: Ergonomic layout for the espresso machine, grinder, sink and waste.
Why does it matter?
A good bar counter solves three things at once:
- Efficiency: The barista reaches every piece of equipment in a few steps; the queue moves faster at peak hours.
- Hygiene: Seamless, waterproof surfaces are easy to clean.
- Brand perception: The guest's eye goes to the bar first; material and lighting convey quality.
How we handle it at Standchi
We design the counter as modular parts to suit your space's dimensions and workflow, then produce and test it in our 700 m² workshop. Water and electrical connection points are planned, and the durable worktop material is chosen to match the concept. It arrives at your space as numbered parts with video-guided installation. Every bar counter is custom millwork and bespoke joinery, built to your exact drawing.
