What is it?
Compact laminate is a thick, self-supporting laminate sheet in which hundreds of paper layers are pressed with resin under high pressure and heat. It is the solid form of HPL that needs no substrate; it is extremely resistant to water and impact.
- Self-supporting: Needs no separate panel; used on its own.
- Waterproof: Ideal for wet areas and outdoor exposure.
- Characteristic edge: Usually shows a black (or coloured) core texture.

Care & cleaning
The non-porous surface is easily cleaned with a damp cloth and general cleaner and is suitable for disinfection. Apart from avoiding abrasive scouring pads, it needs no special care and keeps its form for years in wet areas.
