Composite Panel Cladding in Commercial Fit-outs
We do not sell composite panels. We use them selectively as lightweight cladding or feature surfaces when they make sense within a retail, showroom or mall-kiosk fabrication package.
How this fits into our production
Standchi is not a material supplier. Selected kiosk skins, cladding panels, feature surfaces and lightweight architectural details coordinated with the metal and joinery structure of the project.
This capability exists to support a complete commercial project. Continue to the service that matches your space: Café Design · Restaurant Design · Store & Shop Design · Showroom Design · Mall Kiosk Design.
Why we use it in commercial fit-outs
Composite panel (commonly aluminium composite panel / ACP) is a light cladding panel with polyethylene or mineral filler pressed between two thin aluminium sheets. It is used to create flat, wide and modern surfaces.
- Aluminium composite (ACP): Light, flat, easy to work; the standard for façades and cladding.
- Fire-resistant (A2/FR): Mineral-filled, for places requiring a high fire class.
- Surface options: Solid colour, metallic, wood and stone patterns, matt/gloss.
Options we specify by project
By filler type
- PE-filled: Economical, for interiors and general cladding.
- Fire-resistant (FR/A2): Mineral filler, for façades needing high safety.
Processing
With CNC grooving (V-cut) and bending, corners turn seamlessly; columns, signage boxes and three-dimensional forms can be produced.
What matters in fabrication
| Structure | Aluminium + filler + aluminium sandwich |
|---|---|
| Weight | Light — easy to install on large surfaces |
| Processing | CNC V-cut, bending, cutting |
| Surface | Solid colour, metallic, wood/stone pattern; matt/gloss |
| Fire | Standard (PE) and fire-resistant (FR/A2) grades |
| Use | Indoor and outdoor (with the right grade) |
Where we use it
For wide, flat and modern surfaces:
- Exterior façade and entrance cladding
- Column and large-surface cladding
- Signage boxes and brand walls
- Stand and display back panels
- Suspended ceilings and decorative panels
Why we specify it selectively
Advantages
- Light; fast, economical installation on large surfaces
- Very flat, wave-free surface
- Seamless corners and forms via V-cut bending
- Wide colour/texture range and a fire-resistant option
Points to consider
- Can dent on impact (thin aluminium face)
- On façades the right grade (FR/A2) and mounting system are essential
- Cheap panels can fade
After installation
The surface is wiped with a damp soft cloth and a neutral cleaner; abrasives and solvents are not used. Regular cleaning keeps the gloss on exterior façades. The gaskets/seals in the joints should be checked periodically.
How we apply it at Standchi
By machining composite panel with CNC V-cut and bending, we produce seamless corners and smooth, wide surfaces. For façade, column, signage-box and brand-wall applications we choose the right panel grade and a concealed mounting system to deliver a clean, modern result.
