Most fit out questions cannot honestly be answered with a number. This one can. A mall kiosk has a footprint the centre itself standardises, usually 8 to 12 m2, so the scope is narrow enough to price in public. Below is the table we quote from, and then what each line in it actually buys.
Prices are Istanbul base, in EUR, for a kiosk we design and manufacture ourselves. Freight is quoted separately by destination; import duty and destination VAT are the buyer's.
The number, up front
For a typical 8–12 m² mall kiosk:

Three columns rather than one price, because the same square metres can be built three different ways. What moves a unit between them is further down.
What each line buys
- Design (3D + technical). Layout, a full 3D you approve, and technical drawings a workshop can build from. The approved 3D is what fixes the scope — after it, the quote you sign is the kiosk you receive.
- Manufacturing. Carcass, counters, display and storage, cladding, doors and shutters, cut and assembled in our own workshop. This is the largest line on every kiosk at every level.
- LED & lighting. Never a trivial line. On a jewellery kiosk it sits close to a product cost, because colour rendering is what the customer is actually judging.
- Graphics & print. Brand surfaces, printed panels, lettering, signage faces. Small in euros, disproportionate in how the unit reads from twenty metres away.
- Installation & shipping. For a kiosk staying in Turkey, installation. For an export kiosk, test assembly in our workshop before packing, plus export packing — the two things that decide whether it goes together on site without a workshop nearby.
What the number does not include
Most kiosk budget surprises are not inside the quote, they are around it. None of the following are ours to quote, and any supplier who folds them into a single figure is guessing:
- Mall deposit, rent, service charge and the centre's own design approval fees
- Electrical connection, and any work the centre requires from its own contractor
- Coffee, cooking and refrigeration equipment; POS terminals, safes and alarm systems
- Freight to your country, customs duty and destination VAT
- Trading permits and local licences
We say this before quoting rather than after. It is the single most common reason a kiosk ends up costing more than expected.
What moves a kiosk from entry to premium
- Material segment. Laminate, compact laminate, Solid Surface, stone and glass sit at very different price levels — and the gap compounds, because a higher segment also demands more precise fabrication.
- Display density. A kiosk that is mostly counter is not a kiosk that is mostly vitrine. Glass, locks, concealed hinges and lit shelves all land on the same square metres.
- Lighting quality. Ambient light is cheap. Accent light inside a vitrine, and faithful colour rendering where colour is the product, is not.
- Form. Flat panels are cheap to cut. Curves, radii and CNC-milled fronts are not.
- Finish level. A visible laminate edge and a seamless joint are not the same job, and lacquer coats and metal trim are counted one by one.
Kiosk type changes the mix, not just the look
Coffee kiosks carry their cost in counter ergonomics, water and waste routing, machine cut-outs and heat clearance. The equipment is yours; the joinery that has to accept it is ours.
Food kiosks are shaped more by hygiene-facing surfaces, service flow and the centre's own food-court rules than by aesthetics.
Jewellery kiosks spend on security and light: locking vitrines, laminated glass, and lighting chosen for colour rendering. This is the one type where premium is not decoration.
Buying a kiosk from Turkey
An export kiosk is assembled once in our workshop before it is ever crated. Parts are numbered, fixings are bagged to the drawing, and the unit ships flat with assembly drawings, so it can be put together by a fit out crew that has never seen it.
We do not publish a freight figure, because it is not ours to invent — it depends on destination, volume and season. What we give you is the crated dimensions and weight, so your own forwarder can quote it accurately.
Timeline, because it is part of the cost
Design takes around 15 days. Manufacturing starts at one month and scales with the unit. Freight depends on destination. A mall handover date set without those three numbers is a wish, not a plan — and rushed production is the most expensive way to build anything.
Five questions before you accept any kiosk quote
- Which of the five lines above is included, and what is excluded — in writing?
- Which material segment is quoted, and are you comparing suppliers on the same segment?
- Is the unit test-assembled before it ships?
- Who carries the cost if a part does not fit on site?
- Is the design fee deducted if you also order manufacturing?
Ours, for the record: design starts at €1.250, and it is deducted in full from the production invoice if we manufacture the kiosk as well.
